-The Dark Knight (No Spoilers)-
Well, I saw it and what can be said? It's simply the best superhero movie made, hands down, and without a doubt (sorry Spidey and Ironman). I read a quote somewhere that pretty much summed it up..."This isn't a comicbook movie, it's a graphic novel movie." That hit it right on the head.
To go into a little more detail (don't worry, no spoilers)every actor did great. I mean yeah, Heath was phenomenal but so were Bale, Eckhart, Oldman, Caine, Freeman and the rest. They all had great performances. I could really tell that Nolan and the cast really read up on their Batman graphic novels. Many of the psychological aspects of the film were taken directly from them. The music was another drop dead awesome part of the flic. It really added to the creepiness and suspense..and I do mean suspense. This movie will have you gripping your seat practically the whole time, and sweating about who you can trust and not trust.
So to sum up, this movie sets a new standard on what you can do with a flic that is based off of comic book characters. 20 years from now, examples will still be taken from this movie. Oh...and I have to say, this is definitely not a movie for the little ones. They were really treading the fine line between PG-13 and R. There may not have been much blood or cursing, but the tension and overall creep factor was sky high.

That's how good the movie was.

"Kiff, I have made it with a woman. Inform the men!"
I think if they actually showed the Joker cut someone up, it probably would have sealed the deal to make it R.
Gah, I hope Nolan comes back for a third. He knows what he's doing.

I've seen so many crappy movies latley, and this one was so... satisfying, I want to say. And it was long, too! YEAY!
It really surprised me, too that it was pg-13.. I don't know how exactly that got by.. There were some people with pretty small kids sitting behind us in the theater, and thankfully they left.. I was scared for the poor kids!

Most (to all, I'm not entirely sure) of the city-scape scenes were done in IMAX, which makes for amazing atmosphere.
Plus, several key action scenes. :] (opening, ending, chase...)
The best movie I've ever seen, hands down.
A lot of my Batman fanatic friends are hoping for a sequel. I personally hope they don't make one. This was was flawless, an epic masterpiece. But it ended so resolved and poetically, another one would just stretch it.
WALL-E and Dark Night, MADE this summer worth living for.
And now I can die.
